About Thumbkin

Thumbkin was set up to make chic childrens wear, specialising in all natural, high quality, handcrafted British products, that are environmentally and ethically sustainable.

Founded by Sarah Holden, 33, Thumbkin launches with its premier winter collection of mittens, bootees and hats for children ages newborn to four-year olds.

The philosophy of Thumbkin is to blend parents' desire for practical, durable clothing for their children with colours, textures and designs to intrigue children's curious young minds.

The designs are inspired by everyday experiences spent with her own children - their imagination being captured by interesting colours and new tactile sensations.

Sarah lives in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex, with her husband and two daughters aged two and three.
